Doula Services

As your doula, I support you to have an empowering and positive birth experience as you define it. I am committed to serving you, supporting you and providing continuity of care.

A doula is a non-medical birth companion, providing physical and emotional support to YOU, the pregnant person, before, during, and after childbirth. A doula can provide continuity of care as well as provide information so that you (and your partner if you have one) can make the most informed/empowered choice possible at any given time. I have supported women to have unmedicated births, inductions, and planned cesareans. Every birth is different and my support is non-judgemental and unwavering.

What my doula service package includes

  • Obligation free and complimentary first meeting to get to know each other and find out how I can support you and your partner

  • Two pre-birth visits in your home to go over your birth preferences, logistics, any concerns, advice, questions, pain relief strategies, all the things!

  • Email and phone support

  • On call from 38 weeks

  • Attending your birth from when you feel you need support

  • Birth photography (depending on the circumstances you can expect to receive around 25 full resolution photos of labour, birth and the golden hour)

  • Two postnatal visits to debrief with you and your partner, help with recovery, food preparation, troubleshooting breastfeeding issues, helping with baby so you can rest, shower, sleep and just generally leave you feeling better than when I arrived!
